More secure IT – multi-factor authentication is required från 17 June
A majority of all IT-breaches and cyberattacks can be avoided using
so-called multi-factor authentication (MFA). From 17 June 2024, the University is introducing a more secure login using MFA, to access email and files, and other services in Microsoft 365.

With a student account you get an email address where the University sends information.

Microsoft 365
Get an Microsoft 365 account including access to Microsoft’s email service and calendar.
Copy, print and scan
With the printing and copying systems, you can print, copy and scan documents.

Student account
As a student at Uppsala University, you need a student account. The student account gives you access to the student gateway (uu.se/students), the University's network, printing systems and a variety of services that you need for your studies.

Software for students
There are computer software available for all students such as spelling software and software for numerical calculations and statistics.
Wireless network – WIFI
Your student account gives you access to the University's wireless network.
