We work with biomaterials that can control the functions of cells and tissues.
Our research
Our research group works with biomaterials that can control the functions of cells and tissues. The materials are built from chain-like molecules or polymers, both synthetic and natural. Natural polymers include proteins, the building blocks of the body and indispensable for all body functions and cellular processes. Another is polysaccharides where hyaluronic acid is used by our group as a building block for materials to generate bone.
