Our research

Translational PET imaging - from idea to clinic.

The Translational PET Imaging Laboratory develops techniques for in vivo molecular imaging, such as positron emission tomography (PET), to enhance our understanding and management of various disease states, particularly metabolic diseases and cancer.

Our current primary research interests include the development and validation of non-invasive imaging methods for assessing immune cells, fibrotic processes, and pancreatic beta cells. Additionally, we contribute to drug development through innovative imaging-based methods, such as studies of a drug's mechanisms of action and in vivo bioavailability.
