Research data and information practices

About the project

The doctoral project aims to examine the archiving of research data at Swedish state universities and put it in relation to which information practices and behaviours that exist among Swedish researchers. This is done to get an overview of what infrastructure is needed to support researchers based on their actual needs. The overarching research question is how do current legislation, infrastructure and information practices affect the handling of research material by university archivists and researchers?

My doctoral studies are carried out within the framework of the Research School ReSource - Transforming Reading and Source Criticism in Digital Cultures, which is funded by the Swedish Research Council and coordinated by the Swedish School of Library and Information Science.

The plan is to write a compilation thesis in English.
