Here we present some of all the skilled employees at our research group in Analytical Pharmaceutical Chemistry who have moved on to new challenges in their careers.
Malin Nilsson Broberg, SVA
Malin Nilsson Broberg completed her PhD Studies with us 2019–2024. As a PhD student, Malin divided her time between Uppsala University's Biomedical Center and the Swedish Veterinary Agency, SVA, where she developed methods for doping analysis and doping control through the identification of new analytical targets.
In March 2024, Malin defended her thesis Metabolite Profiling of Drugs using Mass Spectrometry: Identification of analytical targets for doping control and improvements of the metabolite search process. Malin was then recruited as a Researcher at the Swedish Veterinary Agency, SVA.
Lars Geurink, Batavia Biosciences
Lars Geurink completed his PhD Studies with us 2016–2022. As a PhD student, Lars divided his time between Uppsala University's Biomedical Center and Janssen vaccines, where he focused his work on analytical quality via design (AQbD) of method development for the characterisation of vaccines.
In June 2022, Lars defended his thesis Microgels as drug delivery vehicles: loading and release of amphiphilic drugs before being recruited as Technical lead at Batavia Biosciences in Leiden (NL).
