Objects from the University's departments

Many of Uppsala University's departments have their own collections of objects. Sometimes these collections cannot be properly cared for in the department, or the objects are no longer relevant for the work of the department. In such cases, the objects may enter Gustavianum’s historical collections. The ambition is to preserve the University's common cultural heritage from all scientific fields. The departments can also contact Gustavianum for advice about storage, security and disposal of objects from their own collections.
