Client management for Windows

A Windows computer ordered and delivered via UIT is something you can easily get started with on your own. The computers supported in Windows Client Management are those ordered using, for example, the list of recommended IT equipment.
If you have an unmanaged computer ordered previously and owned by Uppsala University, you can contact IT Support to see the possibility of enroll your computer to the client management system.

A Windows computer that is managed will have access to a self-service portal ("Software Center"). You can find it by searching for "Software Center" in the lower left corner of the Windows Start menu.
