My user profile
Under "My user profile" in your user account, you can, among other things, change passwords and create guest identities.
Change your password
Employees and actives users can change certain information through the My user profile service.
Click User Profile to change your password..
Consider the following if you change any of the passwords:
Password A - change is implemented with immediate effect.
Password B - change is about three hours.

Some Departments/Campus Areas use their own data solutions and portal solutions with their own logins. Contact the manager for the IT service.
The Windows computer labs normally use password A. But each Institution / Campus determines which students can log in to their computers. The IT Managers at the Department/Campus knows which computer labs you can use. Contact information for local IT.

Create a guest identity
Guest identities are used for accessing a number of IT services at the Uppsala University. You can create guest identity to guests who need access to the Internet. However, guests are primarily recommended to connect to the Internet using the wireless network UU-Guest.
Name and address updating in AKKA
Update name and address information
The local directory administrator at your department updates your home address and name information.
If you work at several Uppsala University departments, you only need to contact one of these persons to make an institution-wide update.
Update email address
Your email address at Uppsala University is closely linked to the department where you are working. Changing your name in the email address should be communicated to the directory administrator at the department.
If you work in several departments, please contact each directory administrator for changing your email address.
